Staff sign in with their district ID. Do not use FRO Open for staff. Admin links stay hidden for roles that cannot use them.

FRO admin: add a user

  1. Sign in at /admin.html with your FRO admin credentials (configured on the host; defaults are not published in this help).
  2. Open Users. Fill username, name, password, role, and district ID. School admins also need a school.
  3. Independent learners use fro-open. Staff need a real district code.
  4. Press Create user. Change a role with the buttons on that row. Delete is permanent. Genesis cannot be deleted.
  5. Issue a reset code or a temporary password from the same row. The person finishes at /reset.html.

Create a district, then a school

  1. FRO admin creates a district. The district admin password is shown once.
  2. District admin signs in at /district.html and uses Add a school.
  3. School admin signs in at /school.html and adds students. Those profiles show the school and the district. Certificates can carry school credit.

Import FRO Open learners

The learner generates a code on Profile. The district admin enters username and code under Import an FRO Open learner. The same account moves in. Progress, badges, certificates, and return orbits are kept. Do not create a second account for the same person.

Progress report

District and school dashboards load a report of visited crystals, practiced crystals, certificates, and return-orbit reviews due. That is the evidence behind the credit count. It is not a transcript.

Return orbits

A passed star-check schedules the crystal to return in 1, 3, 7, then 21 days. Learners mark a review on Profile. Reports show reviews due so a school can see who has recall work waiting. Reviews do not mint extra certificates.

Family view

Learners mint the link themselves on Profile. Staff cannot open a learner’s account through that link, and the snapshot hides username and user id. Ask families to revoke a link if it was shared too widely. Links expire on their own (the learner chooses 1–90 days). The public page is /guardian.html?token=….

Instructors

Instructors build worksheets, activities, and games, attach them to a classroom, and record grades. Agent review of a submission is a comment for the instructor, not the official grade. Classroom tools stay on /instructor.html.

Curriculum, sky, ledger

FRO admin can order subjects, prune duplicate coordinates, and read the DDFNL ledger. Emergent crystals appear on the sky with a pulse. Themes recolor the interface, including the organization mark. District admins do not get the organization-wide ledger.

Lost passwords

The person opens /reset.html. An admin issues a reset code or sets a temporary password on the user row. Share the code out of band. Do not email a password into the ledger note.
